Crushing and screening process of stone production line

The crushing and screening process is a crushed stone production process composed of crushing and screening operations. It consists of crushing operations and auxiliary screening and selective screening operations matched with the crushing operations.

1. Open circuit and closed circuit process

The crushing and screening process can be divided into open circuit process and closed circuit process. In the open circuit process, there is an inspection and screening process. The process is relatively simple and has high productivity, but the product particle size is not uniform. The fine-grained crushed product enters the next processing procedure or as a finished product, while the coarse-grained crushed stone returns to the original crushing section for re-crushing. The particle size of the crushed stone produced by this process is relatively uniform. However, there is also a process that increases mechanical complexity, increases energy consumption and reduces productivity. In the production of fine-grained crushed stone, a closed-circuit process is usually used.

2. Common production process

In the production of crushed stone, the primary crushing and screening process and the secondary crushing and screening process are commonly used. Only when the raw material particle size is large or the product particle size is small, due to the large total crushing ratio, the three-stage crushing and screening process is adopted. The primary crushing and screening process is the most basic process. According to the different arrangements of crushing and screening operations, there are four basic forms of primary crushing and screening processes.

3. Process selection When choosing a crushing and screening process, the main factors to be determined include:

1) The total crushing ratio, the number of crushing segments and the crushing ratio of each segment The total crushing ratio is determined by the particle size of the raw materials and the particle size of the product. The crushing ratio of each section is determined by the structural characteristics and process form of the crusher. The total crushing ratio is equal to the product of the crushing ratios of each segment, thereby determining the number of crushing segments.

2) The setting of each section of the screening machine According to the particle size characteristics of the product, the screening process is reasonably set. Generally, pre-screening should be set before medium and fine crushing. When there are many fine particles in the raw material, pre-screening should also be set. When the particle size of the product is small, a closed-circuit process should be used. When the particle size of the product is large, the screening and screening process of Duli should also be set up. The selection of crushing and screening process is a complex task involving many factors.
