Methods to prevent the loosening of the crushing wall of the cone crusher

During the operation of the cone crusher, it is inevitable to encounter large pieces of materials or iron products. Too many times will lead to the loosening of the crushing wall. If the maintenance is not found in time, it will make the serrated thread pair and the internal gear pair in the fastening device. All were ground into bald buttons and completely failed, causing the crusher to be unable to use normally and directly reducing the service life of the machine. Only by preventing the loosening of the crushing wall can the service life of the machine be prolonged, so there are several ways to prevent the loosening of the crushing wall of the cone crusher:

1. The zinc alloy should be in close contact with the spindle nut and the lower surface of the lock nut. If the contact is poor or not tight, it will cause the broken wall to loosen.

2. The wear of the broken wall should not exceed two-thirds of its thickness. When the broken wall is severely worn, the thin section becomes “soft”. The broken wall is easily loosened or damaged.

3. The material should not contain too much mud and water when feeding. At the same time, it should be noted that iron ore should not enter during feeding. If the material is too sticky, it will adhere to the crushing cavity and cause crushing and loosening. The entry of iron blocks will not only damage the crushing wall but also accelerate The broken wall is loose.

4. Regularly check the gap at the bottom of the broken wall, which should not be greater than 0.1mm.

5. When installing the broken wall, according to the instructions, install the broken wall correctly on the adjustment sleeve, and remove the dust and all debris on the surface before installation. If replacing broken walls, remove all old packing.
